If you are a member, that has your "auto log-in" checked, I might suggest something.

Go up to the top of the main page, and "log out".

If you do that, then navigate back to the main forum page, and take a look down all along the page, you will notice some huge differences.

While telling my friend that just joined (he has been busy and has joined, but hasn't been back to login yet), he was "unaware" of the Hitchcock section of the board.
That got me to thinking.

There are a TON of sections, that are "members only".

If you are like me, you probably never paid too much attention to that, I just took it as a given.

If you log out and look in as a "guest", you will see just how much more we have to offer, when you join as opposed to viewing as a guest. Its truly a world of difference, as there is a HUGE amount of content accessible to only us as "members".

Peeking in as a guest, will give you new appreciation on the big difference, that only us can see.

When you log in and reset, you only have to begin typing in your username, and the name and password should automatically enter the boxes, in case you might forget.

You're goddamn right it does. Good thing too because assholes like James B. W. Penis and Eric Fagrerra can't even view a lot of the sections of our board.

Greetings All,

As TZ DZ Fan has mentioned, any member that is not logged in is definitely missing the big picture. If you are always logged in, unlog for a minute and see what the guests perceive. It may prove useful when you think about what is available to the common viewer as opposed to a full member.

On a side note, when new members join they are not automatically granted access to the board. I will send them a brief email questionnaire. Only after they have responded, will they be granted access. This is to remove spam bots and get a feel for any and all potential members. After one week, if I have not received a reply to the email, their account will be denied and removed. Hopefully, those I have sent emails too that have decided not to respond may think about doing so and not ignore the email. If not, then their account will be denied.

What is exactly in the Members Only section? Lets just say that the MO threads hold more advantages than just discussion as is shown on the public forum. So, if you are a member and only check in as guest, log in and welcome to the experience that is PtE.

Happy Posting & Have Fun,

Phineas J. Whoopee

Just an open note to our other board members.
The last joker that tried to register, "ChunkonWheels", did not respond favorably to Phineas' questionnaire.
Rather than answer a few simple questions, he simply put "I am a GI Joe".

Needless to say, our board has been wiped of that moron.

There were other "non-posting" members who were pruned away as well.
A close inspection of the "memberlist", and you should see the differences.

Sorry people, but if you were a member here for several months, and do not post, ( and several NEVER did), then we are going to clear that clutter off the board. (unless its someone we know extremely well)
