A fun little story of an isolated train stuck in a blizzard with an escaped mental patient on the loose. If little Johnny can keep quiet during the old cow hands stories, he'll get a shiny silver dollar. That's one hell of a temptation for a 1950's kid - but can he do it. And, in the end, we learn what a dollar actually means to a spoiled little boy.

Good to see both Cloris Leachman and Chill Willis in this episode. Chill brings his usual country smooth manners with him and leaves you guessing all the while.

8!

Now this was worth an 8!

Some tension during the train delay, unsure of exactly what might happen. I really enjoyed this one. Agreed -- good to see Cloris Leachman and Chill Wills.

This might be one of the few suspense stories about an escaped mental patient where the patient isn't dangerous, and you know it from the start.

I keep thinking Johnny was played by Billy Mumy for two obvious reasons. First, he seemed to play EVERY little boy on TV for a long while, and second, there's Cloris Leachman as his mother (as in IT'S A GOOD LIFE).
