What an excellent episode, arguably the best of the series, even though it's quite a loose adaptation of 'The Final Problem', certainly the first two episodes of the season stuck somewhat more closely to their source material. However the story is so well constructed, and it's certainly both the most tension filled episode and the most emotional. Without giving anything away it's got to be the closest I've been to shedding tears from watching a TV show  lol. Andrew Scott, who I admitted wasn't my ideal Moriarty to begin with, really shows what a good actor he is, he's great in this with having a lot more screen time, and it goes without saying that both Cumberbatch and Freeman are excellent. The ending contains a couple of twists and raises more than a few questions. Bring on the 3rd season!

10/10

If I could, I would've rated this one a 20 (on a 10-point scale)!! By far the best episode of the series -- most gripping, most tension and thrilling, and such a fantastic plot with beautiful acting by all involved. Yes, Rorschach, I too almost cried. Of course I was laughing at the start of the episode -- Sherlock's hatred for that deer hunter cap is amazing. I am quite curious how the 3rd season will explain this finale. I know he had Molly assist with "something" but I just can't figure out exactly how "it" was done. I absolutely love this show -- I think I only rated S1 ep2 a '9' but everything else got 10s.

10!

Yes I have. As I mentioned in that thread, though I'll probably check it out, I don't see myself enjoying it to this extent.
