Well, I thought it would be fun to see William Windom in another role and also to see Barney Miller again. I haven't seen this show in years and it still holds up very well, some 30+ years later. I hope you take 25 minutes to check it out if you have never seen an episode, it is funny. Funny to see Steve Landesberg play a different character just three months before they made him a regular! Gotta love the 70's clothes too! Memories.... :D

One of my favorite things about that one (and the early seasons of the show in general) is Gregory Sierra as Chano. He was pictured as such a conscientious person, without the show laying it on too heavily.
Even though i dislike a whole lot of bathroom humor, one of my favorite lines is when Barney is hustling the repairman out of the men's room and Fish says in that panicky voice "Barney, he hasn't fixed it yet!"

I was in my 20's when this sitcom was on TV. I didn't get the bathroom jokes. :wtf: Now in my 50's I belatedly understand. :ROTF:
