Something about this episode is just fun. I love Joey "Pants" Pantoliano in most everything he does in general. This certainly had that comic book feel to it and with Donner at the helm it was destined to be shocking.

7!

This is one of my favorite TFTC episodes, and features one of my favorite character actors, Joe Pantoliano. My initial viewing as a kid really makes this one fun for me, even today. I think the "twist" at the end (whether it's predictable or not - for me it was not) is what gives this one that punch to a '10'.

A superb trifecta for the inaugural "episode" of the series.

8 for me....another first time viewing from the DVD...and its a great story. This is one of the many circus type episodes that would come out of crypt....and I love alot of them. I suppose you could say this was the first crypt to start using jokes and making the horror more light.

It just really kicks ass.....It has Robert Wuhl and Joe Pantoliano at their best. One such example of why this episode is great...just look at this random line from the show...

"My Freaks could use a new shoe."

I don`t seem to remember if i liked or not. The thing i remember was the ending. Perhaps i should later try to rewatch Tales From The Crypt from season 1 to 5.

I still love this episode. I think it may have been the first time watching Joey Pants and since then, I've enjoyed mostly everything he's been in. Such a quality character actor.
