This is too hard, don't think I can decide on just one, I love Sci-fi, fantasy, horror and noir equally.

I have to agree with Rorschach, although I would throw in comedies, westerns, and dramas, too

Westerns are up there with my favs too, not so mad on comedies and dramas though, with a few notable exceptions that is.

I too chose Science Fiction for many reasons. It can incorporate many different themes and aspects from other genres into itself where other genres don't always make that leap successfully.

In regards to Westerns ... with the exception of Deadwood & Briscoe County Jr., they really haven't made Westerns in the past 20 years or there about. But, I did leave the OTHER option available to handle this once might and all consuming genre.

Thanks all that have so far voted and posted their opinions. Hopefully, we will have more members post on this poll soon.

I half way expected "PORN" to be among the more decisive genres and higher scorers on this board. Just kidding. I see Drama and Horror have some supporters too, which is wonderful to see.

My favorite genre of films is horror but SCI FI television is always more entertaining to me personally. Mybe because of the drawn out story arcs.

I love horror and especially love it when my sub-genres include a horror element to it. It's a perfect combination!

I must have voted for Sci-Fi before but Horror is right there with it.

I voted OTHER

Only because most of the genres I like ON television are so poorly written most of the time.

SF, for instance is at least 30 to 50 years behind the Wonder that is being written and published in mags and books today--almost always due to censorship of ideas which television just cannot accept due to sponsors and can seldom deal with due to the Suits who buy it, not from the award winning or other great writers, but from Joe and Jane Blow who wrote some other thing they like.

There are exceptions, and I watch and record them avidly. When I voted OTHER I meant ANY teleplay well written, for without a good script, actors and a director are lost.

Comedy would be a close second to drama for me, especially if there's a little drama involved in it.
