Hey Butch, this looks interesting.... good post.

I hope you don't mind but I went ahead and edited/added the trailer into your post, so the people here can watch it right here on the board.
All you have to do when posting, is click the little "youtube" button above the posting field, and little tags appear in your post. (before you submit)
Then you can just paste the youtube address between the two tags, and when you post it the trailer/youtube vid should appear.
(this should work in most cases when you post, but occasionally some youtube vids are different and "locked" where you can't embed elsewhere, like here)

Anyhow, this looks to be a pretty massive project, unless I'm taking the trailer in the wrong light.
I just hope its well done and not slopped together.

Please let me know when this begins as I may forget.
This looks like something we just might need to have posted here on the board.
In fact, when DrM sees this, maybe we can get him to work some of his wizardry and join all parts together and we can get it here on the board.
At worst, we will have to put it here in the four parts.

QUICK NOTE TO ALL BOARD MEMBERS-
If you did not know, as one of the 2 founders of this board (DrMoreau and I) I DO* have the ability to delete and edit posts, if its necessary.
In all the years here and our previous board versions, I figure I haven't edited but maybe 10 or so posts EVER.
The vast majority were posts with nudity, or broken links, or instances where hotlinks were tampered with and what was ultimately posted wasn't what the original poster had intended.
Simply put, DrMoreau and I don't believe in deleting or editing people's posts unless there is overwhelming reason to do so, unlike some other boards we have been a part of in the past.
Phineas J. Whoopee has this ability too (I think so anyway) but he is only here very, very rarely as a moderator anyway.
If anyone has any questions feel free to P.M. me if needed.

Again, thanks to Butch for bringing this to our attention here.

The first episode in this series has aired, and its entitled ROBOTS.

ROBOTS-
The show takes a look at the world of robots including HAL in “2001: A Space Odyssey” and the Cylons of “Battlestar Galactica".

There is an interesting critique of this episode here. ~~~~~> http://www.tor.com/blogs/2014/04/robots ... e-1-robots

I have not had a chance to see this yet, but I will definitely get to it before long. Soon thereafter maybe we can get it here on the board for our members.
I am sure this 4 part series will be interesting, but the early reviews doesn't make it seem too promising.

I watched the first episode about Robots and was underwhelmed. We'll see about Part 2, which I believe airs tonight.

Underwhelmed is the word! It was full of misconceptions, mistakes and outright lies. It was particularly self-serving the movies from the mid-to-late 1970s on.

I watched the second episode. Horrible. I can not believe how awful and politically correct the show is.

I had a sinking feeling this might be the case.

The more you guys write about this, the more I am thinking I might not even watch this one, at least not anytime soon.
