I forgot to add Dexter. As a kid I loved Tales From The Darkside and Monsters - I've gotten to see a few now, but they don't hold up as well.

Way too long to think of now. I'll find my list and post it in an all-time favorite TV shows thread though.

I thought that was extremely underrated. ^^

About 3/4 of the way through that series I saw a few episodes and was like "OMG, why isn't anyone still talking about this one?"

*Might have to move all this to another thread lol but,
I could never figure out why Non Star Trek fans but also science fiction fans could never get behind it. Its more action oriented then anything science. Very underrated, but of course most fans should be expected to hate something so far removed from its original idea.
I love it. Might be my favorite out of the whole lot.

If you like inverted mysteries Betty Lou, there's supposed to be a new one coming to ABC this summer. I'll try and see if I can find the name of it. Has a female police detective. The premise is supposed to be the viewers know who the killer is, but we get to see how they get caught but it seems like, unlike Columbo, they question a few different suspects.

I love Columbo too, by the way. That and the Stacy Keach '80s Mike Hammer are my 2 all-time favorite mystery shows. You might like Monk as well, that's also one of my favorites. Psych, The Mentalist, White Collar, Castle and Burn Notice are current favorites of mine in the mystery genre.

Nice list there, I love all the above shows ( well I never got to see a full episode of Red Dwarf, but looked great and funny from what I watched) KoQ is one of my favorite shows, as is The Kids in The Hall, such an epic show that was intelligent, surreal, ground breaking, risqué, extreme, an amazing show, loved the theme song too. I grew up on Sanford and Son, Red Foxx is such a great character actor.

In regards to ST Voyager, I'm a Trek- a-holic, I at first did not like the series, but then they brought back the Borg, and introduced of Species 8472, I like Capt. Janeway and Commander Tuvok ,oh yeah and seeing Seven of Nine on the ship each week helped me like this series.

I was in the same boat Mr.Z. The series seemed to start a little slow, but later in the series it became pretty damn epic at points.

Soon it became one of my favorites.
I remember a 2-3 episode arc- where there was some type of alternate reality, near the end of that series.
Tuvok was blind, and Janeway was trying to save the ship and crew from destruction.

That was pretty awesome.

TZ DZ,
I at first did not like the Marquis, nor did I like Chakotay, I warmed to him a little, but he seemed like an ersatz Cmdr. Riker. I am not a much of a fan of Neelix, nor his appearance and attire, ( some call him the Jar Jar of Trek, this is unfair, but they really made him look gaudy and outlandish, but he is a warm character, so I give him that credit), Kes was a bland character until later in the series. Yes, early on the series was dry, and boring, some episodes seemed pointless, plus it seemed to showcase the above mentioned characters , and not characters like Tuvok. Which were reasons my friends and I did not care for it, at first either , ( I actually did love The Tuvok Neelix merge episode, though).

If ST fans could have skipped the initial episodes, I think this show would have been more popular.

Plus this helped:

Did they ever explain why she was in this suit, and not a federation issue suit ( besides for EYE CANDY lol)?

Perry Mason
In one episode {The Case of the Unsuitable Uncle} Mason fee for writing up a will is $100.00. In another {"The Case of the Golden Oranges"} Mason fee is Oranges! In another case MAson's reward for helping a client is a kiss from her! {"The Case of the Velet Claws"}. Four times Mason has to defend his associates -secretary Della Street {"The Case of the Careless Kitten" {Perry Mason Novel-not the episode of the same name}; " The Case of the Weary Watchdog" and 1986 TV move "Perry Mason Returns"} and Paul Drake {"The Case of Paul Drake's Dilemma"}-from involvement in Murder cases. While he has Della look up previous law cases, MAson also displays a nearly photographic memory of law cases, clues, and witness testimony; he also has a interest in art -such as telling the difference between Chinese and Japanese sculpture- which helped expose a murderer {"The Case of the Weary Watchdog"}!

+1 on Columbo. smug arrogant elitist killer of the week.

Only lasted one season but I really liked Backstrom.

Veronica Mars. I saw the pilot and all I could think of was 'what happens next???'. third season was a bit bland but the first two are incredible.

This is a pretty new show on CBS, it set in a Chicago Donut Shop, the owner is an old fashion man who recruits
a young city dwelling man who tries to modernize the shop, and he helps attract customers to the shop.
Its a pretty funny show with a pretty good and diverse cast. Some of the back ground actors need to flesh out their
roles better; yet, overall a good show with some interesting stories. And the donuts look tempting, ( oy my diet lol).
