I haven't had a chance to pick it up yet - of Fear Itself DVD Set - yet I have been contacted by the Game and Video stores that these are both in and waiting for me. I'm glad to hear that it lives up to the expectation.

Last L4D I played was the 5th story expansion they did a little while back, so I'm looking forward to the 2nd installment.
I am presuming you are playing this on your Windows 7 system, how is it holding up?

It runs like a dream. Windows 7 flies anyway but L4D2 really does fly on it. The Source engine makes use of multi-core processors so that helps a lot too. The graphics and new effects are breathtaking and I really can't come up with better accolades for it. Game of the year by a country mile! The detail they have gone to and the whole atmosphere of the game is just amazing!

 I played L4D 2 at my friends house on her Xbox and I liked it. I'm not really into zombie games, but L4D 2 really does just rock. Time can really pass you by in the game, almost like it hypnotizes you. I found it enjoyable and I suck at shooting games! I stick to the simple fighting games, rpg, and the kiddie stuff cause it's easy. I have to say though, I think Ellis is my favorite.

"The Parish" is the last level, but next to "Dark Carnival" is my favorite. Always fun when you only use Melee Weapons in advanced mode. Makes killing the tanks damn near impossible - but not completely.

There'll be some DLC in the new year that will bring the L4D and L4D2 story arcs together. More info here
