Ah, remember '80s hair metal? I just recently discovered this band from the '80s called TNT. Anyway, their big hit was called Intuition and they have got to be the gayest/girliest/lamest group I've ever heard. If you have any other picks, feel free to post them here whether they be performers, teeny boppers, bands, etc.

When I think back about it.........

There are so damn many that come to mind its hard to pick just one or two.

Bon Jovi
Cinderella
Motley Crue
Def Leppard
Poison
Guns n’ Roses
Skid Row
Great White
Whitesnake
Iron Maiden
Scorpions
Ratt

One could almost include Van Halen, but I don't really consider them part of this group, as their talent was pretty well known.
I'm sure a few of you here may even like some of the material some of the artists in this group came up with, but that certainly doesn't exclude them from this list. (many might not quite fit the "gayest" tag though)

Um...don't you dare put Van Halen here.

I always liked Def Leppard and Ratt. Never considered them hair bands (but they were), but they were NOT lame.

I personally liked a bit of Def Leppard myself.
But all of these you just mentioned could be included for the "hair" aspects.

Not that its a problem I have anymore. 8)

Wait a minute, I think I have found the thread winner, pictured below. It seems to fit ALL THE CRITERIA.

OMG yeah Nelson, I think I have that album on cassette somewhere still. And TZ DZ, I like some songs from all the bands you mentioned, but the only one of those I think I was ever a fan of was Guns 'N' Roses, in its early days, from about Appetite For Destruction to the Use Your Illusion albums, but then lost interest. I heard Chinese Democracy was pretty good though, anyone heard it yet?

Oh yeah and why aren't the Youtube videos I post imbedding here? Since they're not, I'll just post links and leave it up to the webmasters if they want to imbed. I've been using the youtube tab above, but it doesn't seem to be working for me anymore. I'm using Firefox, if that helps.

Anyway, I found some more I used to see a lot on the old MTV Headbangers Ball. Not hair bands, per se, but from the same era and have that hard rock/heavy metal sound, Dokken, Junkyard, Southgang and a supergroup called Contraband, that had a hit with the Mott The Hoople cover, All The Way From Memphis. I believe All The Young Dudes was also covered by Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden. Anyway, here they are:

I went back and edited your first post to show the embedded video.
There was a simple spelling error in the linked address and once i spotted and corrected it, it fixed it immediately.
I had a look at the last few links you tried, and couldn't fix it right away.

Perhaps DrM will catch it.
If there is a problem in the youtube posting button/code embedding feature, DrM will have to have a look at that, as thats beyond my knowledge.

The problem is in the link guys, There are a few easily corrected issues I will discuss. I fixed Anthony's and Creeper's posts and will explain the magic of posting YouTube Links.

1st we'll take a look at Creepers - simply because it is the most common youtube posting error made on the board.

Code:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGNiXGX2nLU&feature=related

The problem here is the "&feature=related" statement on the end of the link. Removing that part of the link corrects the issue.

Example:

Code:
[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGNiXGX2nLU[/youtube]

2nd issue, Anthony's post had the similar "&" statement after the code, but had a less seldom seen "https" statement in the beginning.

Code:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwnYrVHk8TI&list=FLuHniyAleGg6XsX7nXc6DEg&index=8&feature=plpp_video

As we can see, the are 3 "&" statements: list, index, feature following the video but the prefix is also "https" and should be http.

Basically, delete the "&" and any text afterward. Change Https to Http. Code is changed as follows:

Code:
[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwnYrVHk8TI[/youtube]

Things you should walk away with from this discussion:

    1) If it has an "&" statement in the code, delete the "&" and any text afterward.
    2) Make sure the prefix is "http"

This moment brought to you by the bbcode, "YouTube".

I noticed the http"s" in Anthonys vid posts.
When I erased the "s" the vids appeared no problem. It stood out easily, so I happened to catch it.

The other error I didn't see right off, but I wasn't looking closely either really.

Good to know though.

Okay, I'll try and take out the s at the end of the http and the & and everything afterward and if that doesn't work, I'll just post the link and you can copy and paste it in your browser.
