Well, being middle-age, I listen to more music by dead people than just about anything else. I listen to anything and everything as long as it has a good solid groove. Rock, Metal, Punk, New Wave, New Ro, 50, 60, 70, 60, 90, current.

Elton John, Beatles, Stones, Sabbath, Van Halen, Jimi Hendix, Adam Ant, Elvis Costello, ELO, Foghat, Tool, Saliva, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, etc

Cool list, I have heard of King's X, not sure if I have heard their stuff, though, sorry.
I went to a Cheap Trick concert when I was 10, with my older sisters, cool stuff.
Queen, good music, real cool.

Thanks MrZ! I had a tough time coming up with these. I have a ton of music that I've collected over the years. And for the record, I have never tired of hard rock and power pop.

I listen to everything with the exception of country.
I can listen to Metal, death metal, industrial, trance, techno, experimental, grunge, pop rock, glam rock, punk rock, Hard rock, screamo, alternative, hip hop, rap, reggae, reggaeton, swing, classical, du wop, disco, soul, R&B, oldies, foreign, and... pfft tons more.
I'm more of a rocker though, I prefer the old Van Halen, Def Leopard, AC/DC, Queen.. etc etc.

Hi, are you a DADA fan? I have heard of them, nice song btw, thanks for sharing :D

The name reminds me of bands such as: Aha, Abba, The Go GOs, The The, Duran Duran, B.B. King, ZZ Tops.

Not particularly. I just heard that song for the first time in 15 years the other day and just thought I'd share with the group and see who remembered it.

If you lean more that way you might like Tiesto, which is an awesome DJ. I just got his new cd and I love it. It's awesome. :D

Yeah I am well familiar with Tiesto.

My favorite of his is probably "Traffic", which was popular a few years back in the clubs.
I also like "Lethal Industry", thats a decent tune also.

Here's Traffic.

If you like that type of stuff, I would suggest "Advanced"- original mix by Marcel Woods.
Or theres yet another by a relatively unknown artist named "Mylo".

This song called "In My Arms" is very heavy on samples from 2 different 80s hits. "Waiting for a star to fall", and "Bette Davis Eyes".

Link

This version/video has poor sound quality, but you get the gist. Its sounds alot stronger on a decent system.
Also look along the bottom of that video, and check out the "Tocadisco" remix. You may like that better, but do listen to it all the way through, and not give up on it after a few seconds.
He has another song called "No More Conversations" by Freeform Five, and he did a remix that is very wild! It also can be found on youtube, its like 7 minutes long. Very dark electro-house, mixed in with a bit of catchy pop-ish music, later in the song.

I sooo listen to a ton of this stuff, but it sounds way better on a good system. These versions sound weak on most computers, they just need a bit of a bass kick to really shine.

This is for "ImPrettyWhenILie" - - -

This is by a group called "Oceanlab", otherwise known as "Above and Beyond". They record under both names, and Above and Beyond has a huge cult following.
This song has a much greater version though, and I cannot find it on youtube, but this is a good one. You might like it.
This one has relatively poor audio, but if you snoop around , you can find a better version.

Here is "Satellite" -

Link

I can get you a much better mix of this song if you are interested, contact me thru PM or email if you really want it.

QUICK EDIT- I have found a better sound quality video and and sample just added above.

But as long as we are on this Above and Beyond kick, they have another track, that is one of the greatest underground vocal trance tracks that I have ever heard.
This truly is a great one. - One of my all time favorites.

ALONE TONIGHT -
This may be one of the best vocal trance tunes ever. A great video also, with some shuttle lift-off clips, and some awesome surfing footage too, watch it all the way through, its worth it. :D

Absolutely NOT, none of the stations around here play music like this. (at least that I know of)

But let me tell you this...........the best version is the one I have on my iPod.

It is the "Satellite" (original Above and Beyond mix). It comes in at just over 7 minutes long, and is easily the best version I have ever heard.

OK- QUICK EDIT MrZ~!

If you liked that version, then please check this one out. I believe its the same one I have on my iPod. This version is WAAAY better in my humble opinion.
It starts off a bit faster, but then slows down, and focuses more on the womans voice, and is probably the best mix of this song ever. I think it really gets good about the 1:20 mark.
Let me know how you like this one, but again, listen to it all the way through.
I don't know how your "system" is, but this sounds great on a better setup than most simple pcs.

Here is the "Satellite" (original Above and Beyond remix)

Dear Mr TZ DZ,
I like fast hard pumping beats. I love this song, it has a great beat, really danceable, perhaps the one thing they have to
do for radio play is shorten it to 3 or 4 minutes, unfortunately, due to there general format.

Thanks for sharing this, I wish they would play this on the FM dial.

I agree with you on this one MJH. I used to listen to alot of his stuff when I was younger, but not so much in years.

He might be the one who receives the "most deterioriated" award from me, if there ever was one.

Most of his stuff has went straight to shite. :D

Yeah, I have heard the same thing about them too.

I always thought that Metallica just got too mainstream-ish, and tried to appeal to the masses.
Especially after they got to be a bit popular.

Thereby losing all their original fans.

Mr. Mulligan, you never cease to amaze me with your superior eclectic tastes, charms and class.

I enjoy this song by Danny Aiello feat Hasan - Besame Mucho. I have NEVER heard it before, it starts off abit slow, yet its conteporary adult and jazzy. Aiello
croons like silk. Hasan adds nice flare, he is a fine rapper. I like this hip hop jazz tune, it is a diverse song, do not hear much like this, thank you.

Metallica has a few songs I like.

Heavy Metal, and Hard Rock are under-rated imho.
