Yes -- I've long been a fan of Shirley Bassey belting it out during the credits (since Goldfinger); her Liquidator is almost as good:

btw, I just read that Bassey will be appearing on The Academy Awards a few days from now, as part of the James Bond 50th anniversary celebration. Here's a foretaste:

Here's the original for comparison:

Seeing some recent threads and posts created here for horror films reminded me of this...

Just a sweet little lullaby is it not..? Or is it sinister and... profane..?

Even earlier, another sweet little melody from 1961... yet why does it chill the blood..?

as Marlon Brando would say "The horror, the horror.." (he was in the prequel film)

One relatively short soundtrack album that I get hooked on at this time of year is DON'T MAKE WAVES. It has a catchy title song by the Byrds. Maybe some of the music in general sort of fits the stereotype of music in a mid-' 60s light comedy (I'm not sure), but either way I've always liked it.

love is fine and all but I feel mean. I mean, there's more in this world than just love & beauty, right? Am I gettin too old or was I just born that way..? Was I.. born mean..?

can't escape the fact.. there are Satan's Sadists in the world (i.e. recent hacking death in Britain) - they must have just been born mean...
