Wow I never heard about this. Thanks for posting the trailer Dr. M -- I personally enjoyed it. Definitely something I'm now looking forward to -- love Poe and his stories, love the period piece that this appears to be, and love John Cusack -- all make for an entertaining time for me.

:D

Thanks for sharing that! It looks and sounds like an action-adventure show. I was hoping for something more cerebral but fantastic, like a series of mysterious deaths or occurrences linked to Poe's various short stories and poems.

When does this come out? If someone sees it, can they tell me if they like it or if it makes any sense? And didn't they already to a Raven movie with Boris Karloff?

April 27, 2012 here in the states. I believe it has already been released in the UK and Ireland. Perhaps Rorschach or Mr. Serling have had a chance to see it for review.

Yes, Karloff actually did 2 renditions of the Raven: 1935 and 1963. The 1963 Corman/AIP film may be perhaps better known to todays audience being that it had an all-star cast: Price, Lorre, Karloff, Nicholson, Court, and Sturgess. The '35 version co-starred Bela Lugosi. Both are vastly different stories from each other and the film above.
