:wtf: 5 out of the top 11 teams locked out of the Big Bowls by the NCAA. Worthy of discussion? :x

BCS is all bullshit. There is no logic to their system. Nevertheless, I'm just bitter that Rutgers choked and lost to Louisville and missed out on a BCS bowl game. Now they have to play in one of those watered down bowls. Pussies.

Yeah, it's like one of the 4 major title belts in boxing. At least in boxing, you can win every belt though. I guess the National Championship Game is like the Ring title belt, as in the teams that wins that is considered to really be the best.

I'll be watching tonight. It should be a good matchup, though I guess Alabama is heavily favored. I don't care who wins, just as long as it's a good game and not a blowout. I didn't watch any other bowl games, just the Russell Athletic Bowl where Rutgers choked again, blew a 4th quarter lead and lost to Virginia Tech. Disgusting. :yack:

Apparently, this didn't happen. Yet another reason I gave up on the NCAA and the PAC1012

Yeah this game was all 'Bama from the get-go. Notre Dame looked outmatched; I don't know why I ended up watching as much as I did (into the 3rd quarter). Roll Tide -- and that they did.

Is it true college football is adopting a playoff system next year? Does that mean they'll have divisions, like in the NFL? If not, how will this work?

I heard this but know nothing about it. Will have to look into it.

If they do have divisions, I could see watching, but there aren't any decent college football teams from New York, are there? Syracuse maybe? Anyone know?
