F*CK! I incorrectly voted here. I thought I was voting on a different episode. So, I accidentally gave this one a 7. What I really meant to vote was a '4'. I am not a fan of this one. I liked it better than 'Operation Friendship', and I think it's a stronger 4 than 'Whirlpool', but I was just not a fan. I enjoyed the different setting, what appears to be a UFC-type setting, but there is really nothing special here, except getting the eye candy to bitchslap it out in the cage. So, forgive my incorrect vote -- if anyone here actually liked this and wants to give it a 7, please vote a 4 to balance it out. Thanks!

I wouldnt be suprised if this was the episode that made me stop watching so many years ago. I mean...even if I had just happened to tune into Tales from the Crypt one random night and find this....I wouldnt even take it for a TFTC...I would mistake for a late night Cinemax/HBO piece of trash movie at 3am. Its like cheesy kung fu action from the early 90s, when I guess martial arts was the cool thing? Anyway...this is like fecal matter at its best....lousy storyline...BORING storyline...HORRIBLE ending....(in fact not even predicatable because its just so stupid.) What the hell is the point of this? Why in the f@%k was this made....I dont even recognize anybody in it except for a cameo by Wayne Newton. This must have been made purely for the UFC era just getting started and trying to get people hyped...I dont know...

Its like American Gladiators on crack....its a waste of time for anybody to watch it. 2 because its tolerable and it has the Cryptkeeper in it lol...thats whats stopping me from giving it a 0 or 1.....I dislike it very much.

Lazy.....I dont believe anybody will give this a 7...

LMAO. Dude, that's a great summation. I loved it. I agree, it does have that piece of shite 3am Cinemax fell to it.

OK, Lazy - I enabled the re-vote feature here on PtE 3.0. You can change your vote from a 7 to whatever you feel this PoC Theater episode is worth.

What more can be said - this is just bad.

2!

1 for Wayne Newton
1 for Mark Dacascos

Sweet! How do I make this change? I gave it a 4 initially, I think I'll drop it another notch. So it gets a 3 from me.

Just click on the 3 marker up top and click submit. You'll have a little astrix showing you your vote afterwards - possibly even before you revote.

Well it isn't displaying as an 'unvoted' option. On my screen it shows all the votes that have already been placed.

Weird. There is no option for me to place another vote; no link to change votes or anything.

Are there any little round butons next to the rating scale poll up on top? Just like you hadn't voted yet?

Nope. Is the "revote" an option that is board-wide, or is it something I have to personally do for my account?

Enabled on this thread - let me check your settings and I'll post back.

Follow-up: OK - this 3.0 permission system sucks. Now I know why PJ was dreading the convert. ;) But you should be good now.

Thanks for checking into it. Yes, now there is a button next to the numbers so I can place another vote. However, when I did so, I got this reply: "Changing votes is not supported for converted polls." So although I now have the capability to place a new vote, it won't register. LOL.

I know, and the shitty thing is that this thread has way more posts than it should for how crappy an episode it is.

Well I hate to be the guy to expand on this episode some more haha but I just found out it was written and directed by John Harrison......who did the score for George Romero's Day of the Dead, which is my favorite score of any film ever made. I am obsessed with that movie and I am absolutely obsessed with hating this episode so I am sort of ashamed at myself. I feel like bumping up the rating a few points just for Harrison alone but I just cant......He did direct Easel Kill Ya which was wayyyyy better then this crap.

John Harrison is actually the "screwdriver zombie" from Dawn of the Dead (1978)

Yes it does. Easel Kill Ya is one of my all-time faves for TFTC, so definitely a better credit for Harrison. I think the story for The Pit is just dumb. Of course it was at the tail-end of the series, so not much left to take from.

3.
