Vote for #6.

OK - maybe it was just me - but what the hell happened here? :? Either I fell asleep and missed a crucial portion of the brain washing sequence or this episode is just too Avant Gard even for me.

Eric Portman is probably my least favorite Number 2 to date.

6!

I agree for the most part. The brainwashing was a little too fast for a slow paced episode. However, the subliminal messages and nice ending make this one a seven for me.

Now this one gets a bit more interesting, as you start to see the "pattern" for the show.

But like you guys have said, I must have missed a bit here also.
He seems at first like "no way I am not going to run", then all of a sudden whoosh, he is in full campaign mode.

I don't quite understand why someone so very new to the village has all of a sudden been "handpicked" to run for some position.

I don't quite know if I like the "ever-revolving" number twos either, but I can deal with it.

Overall its interesting, but nothing spectacular.

5- only because I am starting to get a feel for the show, and the setting.

We are in agreement here boys. I feel disjointed after this one, even within the first 15 minutes. I didn't exactly see any fluidity between episode one and this one. In my opinion, I could've seen this being an episode somewhere a third or even half the way through the season. There has been little development for me to grasp this storyline at this point in the show. I do love the 'confusion' -- if it's too easy to figure out then what's the point? I honestly felt like I was watching David Lynch's version of 'Lost' -- there's mystery and intrigue presented in the most bizarre and disjointed ways.

6.

The election picture of # 6 is his Spy Photograph--so that is a hint is that the "Village" is run by his old Spy orgization--apparently after he annouced he was Quitting...someone got terrified he was going to spill secrets....too bad that "The Prisoner" was broadcast after the "Danger Man" series where he plays a secret agent..it would have been a nice connumity :wasted:

PS the Simpsons did a good spoof of Homer visting the Village {only its called THe ISland}...all except for the ending when Homer acts "nornal" :wasted: :ROTF:
