A spin on the DB Cooper mythology. Interesting idea behind who and why Dylan (DB) did what he did and what happened to all the money. It also helped Dan's little problem of having old currency at his disposal during his time trips.

During Dan's 1975 ride, we get to meet Frank Vasser, Dan & Jack's father. An interesting look at their photo journalist father and how he influenced both of his son's drive and need to know attitude.

Livia has emerged to be a guide and confidant. Still rather secretive but more forth coming.

(2) Things that make this a need to see episode are: We meet Elliott Langley and his son Zack gets to see Dan warp. Priceless.

Elliott Langley, our man with the time travel physics and principles at his finger tips. A touch of sinister from the get go, but during his conversation with Dan, we find out all too well that he knows what's going on. I expect that this won't be the last of our Mr. Langley.

7!

Here Dan helps two old friends from Vietnam reconnect in the '70s and solves an old mystery in the process, plus more of the blanks are filled in about Dan's past and childhood, which shaped who Dan and Jack would later become, Jack becoming a kind of guardian to Dan and then a cop, so he can help others. Here we don't see someone go on to contribute something great to society or become famous in the news, but just get help through a tough time leading to a happy life. Here we also see for the first time Dan contacting the person he helped in the past when he returns to the present, which is also an excellent touch to this series. Also more is revealed by Elliot Langley, as we heard his voice previously and we now see him for the first time. Whereas Olivia helps Dan in the past in his assignments, Langley seems to provide guidance in the present time on Dan's travels. I give this one a 7, would've been higher if Dan had actually gone through with the story. I guess he was afraid of any questions and unwanted attention, but he could've avoided using Captain Richie's real name and wouldn't have to name his source.
