Giant spiders and lizards and crabs - oh, my.

Okay, from the very start of this episode, you know it's going to be a fun one. Jonny and Hadji play a nasty stunt, get reprimanded, but no real punishment is issued. Sure, Dr. Quest says one thing but buckles under in the end. Then Benton gets kidnapped by Chu Sing Ling, a squat and portly version of Dr. Zinn who - like Ashida and his dragons - has a real yen to make small critters large. Although Race seeks out Jezebel, who finds Quest, Race decides he can do it better. This is a down and dirt - Bond ain't got nothin' on me - Race Bannon. Lets leave it that Race starts out clean but shows the true killing machine he can be. Damn violent and impressive for a family and youth oriented show.

Now, the story at times seems stretched an overly burdened with needless dialog and driving scenes, including a cool hydrofoil, but over all, the pace just drags. Bandit and the fire cracker diversion and hamming it up for photo opts just really seemed cutesy for the sake of the violence we are about to be shown. And the 6 minutes of an action packed rescue and bad guy comeuppance is basically what this episode boils down to. So, in concordance with the length of the action sequence ...

6!
