I believe this is about average for the series, maybe even slightly below.

Not terribly exciting, although there were a few good moments.
Seeing Heinrich getting his demise was cool, and a rather violent way to die, especially for a cartoon. (the final scene is left to our imagination) It was odd to hear Dr. Benton Quest say "I wouldn't wish that on anybody, but he deserved it".

The idea of a tribe of Neaderthals, was also unique, but there wasn't much focus on them here.
How was it Benton Quest "just happened" to know Heinrich....?
We didn't get to see any of the famous Quest "toys" either. :(

Watchable, but certainly not a memorable episode in the series, and perhaps one of the weaker efforts.
Not quite the sparkle :sparkle: I am used to in the series.

4 from me.

:sparkle: I believed Benton mentioned he was with the War Tribunal commision and remembered Heinrich's file.
C'mon, the man, Dr. Quest, was a genius and knew everything! :)

Yes , he did mention something along those lines in the episode.
I just thought it was funny, that he "somehow" managed to know this guy, that had been on the tower for who knows how many years. Then he actually said he had only seen one picture of the guy, and recognized him.
I am not really nit-picking, but I just got a kick out of it.

I guess he is a genius. I figure thats why he had all those wonderful "toys". :D

You know, I remember seeing this show sporadically when I was younger. (late 70s and early 80s) I wonder what it was like for a young kid back in the 1960s seeing these episodes, and all the "futuristic" gear they had.
Most of which I might add, wasn't far off target.

I remember seeing these when I was very young, but I am not old enough to have seen them during their original run. I probably saw them in the early '70s in some Saturday morning syndication run. I do remember them being exciting and often scary. I was probably six or seven.

pure fantasy escapism:
He wears a German Army Uniform not an SS Uniform
How does he know to fly an airplane?
Throwing gernades-instead of being tangled in the airwing-it would probably come back into his lap!
By the way dont count on him being kaput--in the revevial Johnny Quest they had crazy ezekiel Rage come back from the dead-over a cliff; exposed to deadly virus in space; lost in time-yet he stilll comes back again and again

:D I was old enough to watch it when it was on PRIME TIME television and in syndication. It was the coolest DAMM thing running and we couldn't wait for it to come back soon enough. My kids loved it too when I recorded it on the VCR and showed it to them during the re-runs of the 80's and 90's. EVERY episode was a stretch. Flying Dinosaur, Robot Spider Spy that's invunerable except for when it's destroyed, hover crafts, walking, killing mummy. The suspension of disbelief had to be at the highest threshold. But who cared? This was Jonny, Hadji and Bandit all over the world having a ball!
