I have been slowly working my way through these and have seen most all of them.

This is one of the last few I hadn't seen, and its typical Quest fun.

The gold smuggling inside of "hollowed out logs", is a fair enough idea.
We also have your "run of the mill" French bad guys Jacque and Pierre and a couple of others. How generic can you get?

The idea of "Whitefeather" the Indian warrior and his sidekick (well, sort of) the wolf, is a bit childish, but its acceptable.
Him communicating with all of the animals is also a bit corny, but what the Hell, its a cartoon after all.

I do really like the hovercraft that Benton and Race cruise around in. They are yet more of the cool gadgets to be found on the series, especially for the time period.

Overall, its another enjoyable Jonny Quest episode.
Even when they aren't "stellar", they are still good and easily watchable.
Bandit gets skunked, and the Quest clan prevail again!

Solid 5 from me.

French-Canadian loggers are smuggling gold but their operation is thwarted by Johnny, Hadji, and Native-American friend White Feather and his large wolf.

This is a pretty lame episode. The loggers disguise themselves as werewolves to frighten off others in the woods. But unfortunately for them, the Quest crew does not scare easily. It's really a slow story with little of Race or Dr. Quest. Johnny and Hadji don't bring much to the table on their own and Bandit battles a skunk. Gee, can you guess what happens?

My Rating: 3 - Fair
