Frickin' Race Bannon just kicks ass in "Treasure of the Temple". The Quest crew gets rifles and poison darts shot at them, get attacked by vampire bats, someone torches their tents in the middle of the night, etc. After a while, Race starts booby-trapping the bad guy and his flunkies. He pretty much toys with them...poor bastards. Even Dr. Quest slaps a little physical science on their ass. Anyway, this is loaded with cartoon action and violence.

My Rating: 8 - Very Good

Pretty much, if you had any doubts that Race wasn't a bad-ass, this episode will resolve them all. I mean, really, anybody who can dive in a stream and wrestle alligators for his warm-up routine is a rough, tough SOB.

Some good wholesome violence that you just don't see today. But what sets this apart from just the action is the "guess our geographical location" clues they give you through out these stories. Here is the local people and animals, you tell us where they are. Now days that games is easy via the Internet. Back in they day, lots of Encyclopedia research time. Don't believe me? watch this episode. They never tell you exactly where they are, but they give clues. Make a list of all the animals they show you. See if you can identify where this episode took place.

Anyway, fun episode with constant action and mystery driving it.
