In no particular order, here are my personal top 10 1980s Zone eps.

Nightcrawlers
Kentucky Rye
The Toys of Caliban
The Shadow Man
A Message From Charity
A Small Talent for War
To See the Invisible Man
The Cold Equations
Examination Day
Paladin of the Lost Hour

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For those wanting a "top 20", here are the rest of those.

Song of the Younger World
Love is Blind
Shelter Skelter
Dream Me a Life
Quarantine
Need to Know
Aqua Vita
Her Pilgrim Soul
Button Button
The Misfortune Cookie

Note- Most of my top 10 I indeed saw when they first aired, along with a few of the other of my top "20".

I had many of these on VHS, and I watched them quite a few times, then it was many years before I saw them again.

WOW~!
Not the original series, but as close as it gets.
When the 80s series was at its best, it ranked right up there with the classics. (not overall, but several eps though)

I love your choices, what did you think of The Shadow Man?

To See The Invisible Man, I just saw this one yesterday, thanks for suggestion. I love it even more now, thanks, the message is great, sad story.

I like the Shadow Man, I think the idea is really good, but the ending isn't quite to my liking even though admittedly it's got a clever twist, I think I'd rate it a 7/10

I love The Shadow Man more for the visuals than the actual story. Actually when I first saw it as a pre-teen, what the shadow man said at the end confounded me for a long time. So, I can understand your rating :D
