Buy a 12 pack you nit.
$10 bucks for an evenings worth of entertainment, can't beat it.

Or better yet, get a bottle of liquor once a month as an addition, thats the best.

Maybe get a baggie................err, I'm sure thats already taken care of. :smoke:

It's missing a little SVB. Actually I'm so busy right now with moving I haven't even been able to have a nice drunk night. Just casual beers with dinner.

1.75 liters does not equal a half gallon. Close, but no cigar.

Plus, that is some really shitty vodka anyway. Try some Ketel One, Grey Goose, Chopin or Krowleska. All of those are vastly superior to a shitty bottle Smirnoff.

And I'm not even going to begin to get into why you shouldn't drink the piss water beer that you do. All I can stand to drink lately is Guinness and a few select microbrews.

Well its like this................

I know that 1.75 liters doesn't = a half gallon. But its close enough, (especially when you carry them), and we refer to them as "HG bottles".
Nobody around here says "I am going to the store to pick me up a 1.75 liter bottle of vodka", we just say, "Oh ya ,I stopped in and picked up a HG".
They don't sell anything in the liquor stores here in "half gallon" bottles, that I know of anyways. I don't like the liquor stores here in general, the employees are always suspicious of underage people, and the clientele are typically terrible. I tend to get what I want quickly and head for the cashier. (I once got carded when I was like 33, thats was a joke)

As for Smirnoff - - well I think its just fine. To me, its not worth the extra $$$ to buy anything finer. I can and do like Absolut Citron, but even that is no biggie to me.
My drink of choice, is Smirnoff and diet "Cranberry Grape Ocean Spray".
This only has a whopping 5 calories a serving, and is extremely low on sugar and low sodium.
This I only make before I go out, as no club that I know of carries "Cranberry Grape diet Ocean Spray".
(Actually, this fact itself ,may be unique, as if I requested this at my normal club, they would have it for me, if I persisted)

The other vodkas you mentioned... I know I have had Ketel One,(its about the same to me), and I know I have also had Grey Goose many, many times. (GG is pretty good to me, but again, once I mix it, its not a really noticeable difference) The others I believe I had at a local "martini bar" , and I don't remember anything really standing out. That establishment has been closed for a bit now.

The reason I drink Lite beer, should be pretty obvious. Its not anywhere near as "heavy" as the microbrews, and that Guiness bullshit included. Not to mention far too many empty calories.
I like to drink when I go out on the weekends, and because I stay in pretty damn good shape, I tend to watch my calorie consumption, especially when drinking.
Lite is simply readily available, and it will suffice, thats all.

In case you can't figure it out, I am not one of those upper-echelon morons that will tell you "I drink my beer for the TASTE".
I drink alcohol for one reason, and thats the effects.

And.......... on the beer note, I used to like Michelob Light, but almost none of the clubs I go to around here carries it. (the actual bars may, but I don't go to those joints)

Speaking of that, I only drink on the weekends, if at all.
Seeing as its now Friday, I think I am going to go out and indulge again tonight.

Last night the head bartender where I frequent told me that they will soon have this (at my request)as a mixer for my preferred drinks.

In his words "Anything for you".

Now that, is customer service.

I knew when I posted that it would elicit some comment. I also was willing to lay 2-1 that it would come from your direction.
Coming from someone thats a guy, that admits to drinking Guiness, no biggie.

Sure, we can still be pals, but my beer trumps yours on so many levels.

This is the stuff I've been drinking lately:

http://www.greatlakesbrewing.com/beerPr ... d=00000011

Awesome stuff. Too bad it only comes around a few months out of the year. Oh well. In two weeks I will have this to look forward to:

Well,..........I am glad you have a good time drinking what you do.

Becuase believe me, when I go out, I don't give a f@%k less what anyone is drinking. I am only worried about what "Scott" is drinking, and after about 8-10, it doesn't matter much anymore.

Vodka/"Ocean Spray Diet Cranberry Grape" and Miller Lite does the destruction just perfect here.
Plenty of shots of Grey Goose, Jaeger,Jose Cuervo (yuck), and a multitude of shots and mixed drinks mount up and get the job done here.... whatever the girls want to drink at the time.

I hope you get the same results!! (if i liked the taste, I would drink Slurpees)

The thing is, you only need about 4-5 of the beers I drink. That Nosferatu is 8.0% ABV!
