Great topic,

I loved Dungeons and Dragons, the cartoon, each character was unique and interesting, they seemed like old friends.
I loved Starman the movie, and loved the TV series, great acting, and fine writing.

Taxi, Voyagers, and the Misfits of Science were cancelled too soon, imho.

I never got into the Simpsons, sorry. So I have to agree it went on too long. lol

The Simpsons really went to long....still going on to long. They must be going for some big record in TV history.
Everybody knows JERICHO ended way to soon, as this is a show we all wanted here at PTE to stick around.

I agree with you on the Simpsons, way too long.

The last Simpson's episode I saw was a 24 ( the tv series) satire, it was so predictable, sadly, and I could see they
were trying to make the show more contemporary, yet did not see why they kept the characters looking more or less the same,
all the characters wearing same clothes and hair cuts for most part, is it still like that? I hope not.

You thought it was pretty tight huh?

Is this the part where I say "I told you so"???
Lennie James is the man, and he is very strong here, possibly better than his WD parts. (I won't get into that, as in later seasons in WD he is pretty damn good, and I KNOW SVB hasn't caught up.... like a fool lol)
I have some more thoughts on "Jericho", I will expand later on.

Dungeons and dragons was better than average
1 season 13 episodes {about right}
2 season 8 episodes
3 season 6 episode

--Winds of Darkness. hank is captured and eric actually leads! interesting story line but plot of a former pupil of dungeonmaster Mathilda being "Gunshy" is a bit weak and hurried...could have been better.
--Cave of the Fairy Dragons-last episode of the series to be aired--the kids destroy a portal home to save dragons from a greedy king-dungeonmaster last words home is a reflection of the heart..made a good series finale. The unmade "Requirem" showing the kids helping to redeem Venger into good and having a cliffhanger over weather or not to go home....if theeseries had been canceled then...that was it...if not another season of adventures....there were even unused script ideas...about 5 to 6....

This show was under rated, I for some reason feel it was hard to find on television. Maybe scheduling was a problem.

What made the show so good to me was: the characters, each one felt real, they may have had their differences, but
they united to work as a team. They did have some good episodes, I too wish it lasted longer.

D & D Requiem (Unproduced Series Finale).

https://thelonetravelercarl.files.wordpress.com/2015/05/cropped-23606_315043089666_4229526_n-copy-copy.jpg

SPOILERS:
This was nicely written, wish it has moving animation, the voice overs are pretty good, it has a happy ending, just needed a more clarified ending, IMHO.

Also had a story idea for Star Trek:
I also confess that I had a idea for a Star Trek Next Generation comic...
Epilogue of the Sword of Kahless
Stardate ...... A Klingon Bathless is floating in space above a planet
Suddendly a Romulian spaceship materializes and a tractor beam hit the object
It is Commander Sella...
Voice: Cumputer analize object
Computer: Object is very ancient Klingon Bathless composed of Lava and klngon RNA...compatable with legendary forging of sword of Kahless
Voice: Computer analalize Federation Ion trail...could Bathless have been ejected from Federation Scout ship ,,,and did ship come from planet below?
Computer: Affmative to both questions
Voice : Computer are there any Klingon life forms on planet below?
Computer: Klingon Lifeforms in structure...condition uconscious...evidence of a struggle...traces of the Batless has been in room remain. One Klingon life form compatable with Toral son of Duras...
Voice: Beam the Bathless into Toral hand..and also place defense ring on his finger as well...now send a medical beam to revive Klingons
Computer: Affmative
Klingons wake up
Klingon: Sir...in your hand the sacred Bathless of Kahless...Hail....he whose made the cowardly Federation flee!
All Hail:
For rest of story outline see The Sword of Kahless section at http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Talk ... of_Kahless
Too Bad the Sword of Kahless was used in only one epsiode and is last seen drifting in space-from the novel description {above}-it could have been used again for a lose-end tie up episode such as described above-with Worf rescuing the Klingon Empire!!! Or even better yet--Toral was not killed by Worf; he follows Worf and Kor and retrieves the "Sword of Kahless" and becomes a great Klingon hero for retrieving this relic-and shamming Worf; then with the help of the prestige of the finding the "relic"; his powerful family connections and the Cardassians {who decided to use him as a figurehead for Power and war};-Toral launches a coup de against the Klingon Council and takes ultimate power as Emperor and Chanceller. Worf is killed trying to defend the Council and the ultimate Cliffhanger is Toral and Alexander in a personal duel for control of the ultimate fate of the Klingon Empire. To parallel a popular saying...Trek Fans will never know this episode! – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 134.53.145.36 (talk) at {{{2}}}.
To futher expond on the what-if: Toral goes insane with power-surrounds himself in Klingon relics-such as the Sword of Kahless; the Shroud of the Sword; the Knife of Kirom-thinks he is the reincarnation of Kathless. He arranges with Sela so that it appears Cardassia is attacked by "Rogue" Romulians-and sends Martok and Kurn to investigate-which is a Romulian ambush-in which both Klingons are killed. At the same time it is made to look like Elim Garak was also killed in this incident-in fact he is assassinated by members of pro-Romulian cardassians who use Gul Dukat old followers to carry out the deed. Toral wins his duel with Worf with the help of a Romulian-Cardissian device that projects a force field which prevents the wearer from being mortally wounded. Toral deceides on a plan of conquering the galxey by demanding Sela {a ambassador extraordinary to Cardassia but actually a power behind political figurehead Toral} to marry him and "unite" Cardassia with the Klingon Empire and then conquer the United Federation of Planets! Sela realizes Toral has become a Frankenstein's monster and on the day of his duel with Alexander-which is also her wedding day-she secretly deactivates his force field protection! What a story that would and could have been! – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.83.126.88 (talk) at {{{2}}}.

Dungeons and Dragons "Requriam" was a cliffhanger depending if the series was going to be renewed for another season...without Venger as a villain..nor Heros such as Dungeonmaster; Shelia, Presto and Eric....it just wouldn't have been the same :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:   :bell: :bell: :yada: :P :P :P

Well I know most of you guys got into during its original run, and I discovered it on Netflix in 2009. I've even got a few peeps into it as well. I probably won't ever watch it again, but still decent and clearly ended to early.
Now ask yourself if walking dead had got canceled when frank darabont left the show..lol
