Ok, here I would like to open a thread, where everyone can discuss the "worst of the worst", in popular music.

I'm not talking about some obscure band that only sold like 500 albums, I mean shite that was plastered all over the radio.

This can include current stuff as well, but undoubtedly some older 70s-80s-90s stuff will make the core.

Some of the true vomit I am referring to are..............people like

Milli Vanilli

Boy George- lets face it, Culture Club kinda semi-rocked back in the day, but Boy George still blows.(in more ways than one)

Speaking of blows, that also brings me to the ever popular George Michael. He was another that deserves to die a slow and
torturous death for crimes against humanity. (the release of his music bullshit) WHAM! go straight to Hell.

Tone Loc/Young MC/M.C. Hammer - All three of these need to be relegated to the same cesspool.

New Kids on the Block - These glory hole bandits never should have made $50, much less millions.

Vanilla Ice - Do I really need to expand on this jackass????

Note- everyones taste in music is different, so certainly some may be offended here.
Post the ones you think truly suck.

See thats what I am saying bobby.

In the day, it was decent, and everyone listened, but in retrospect, its pretty bad.
Talk about cheesy 80's music.......... :P

Boy George and Culture Club, Ooooh I like her! :) I had one of their CD's but my ex wife got it.
Tone Loc, I love to do the Wild Thing with the Funky Cold Medina
Young MC, Wish I could sex her but standing at the wall like a Poindexter :(
New Kids on the Block, didn't buy anything from them but ya gotta admire their marketing skills. 8)
M. C. Hammer, sometime I go to clubs and dance like him and it gets big laughs from the ladies!

Sorry TZ DZ but when it comes to music I like just about anything. Depends on my mood.Even stuff that would make a billy goat puke. :yack:

Yea, I am pretty much across the board when it comes to music also. Though I can't tolerate country, or very , very little of it anyhow. :(
So I know what you mean by just about anything.

I guess seeing as I was in my teens when most of that crap came about, I remember first hand at how so much of it was shoved down our throats, and was played on the radio over and over and over. Hence the "garbage" rating from me.
Any song can get old if you listen to it long enough I guess.

Things aren't much different these days, as far as crap being shoved down the throats of your average listener. Thank goodness for satellite radio (although I am currently not a subscriber, I have enjoyed XM radio programming from time to time) and iPods - now I carry the music I want with me all of the time.

You mean the "Valerie" that Steve Winwood did?

I may have a listen if so. That particular song was heavily sampled by someone named Eric Prydz, and made into a huge trance/electro dance hit a year or 2 back.
"Call on Me"- Eric Prydz............that was the name

No, I don't think so . . . as far as I'm aware, it's a cover of a ZUTONS track (Liverpool/UK band).

The Amy Winehouse version is a collaboration with Mark Ronson.

Now did it really surprise anyone here that "The Spice Girls" reunion tour fell on its arse?

All that hype over that crap, and I knew it was doomed to fail before it ever got started.

While we are at it, why don't we organize a "reunion" tour of The Starland Vocal Band.

They can go all over the world to countless countries, and subject audiences everywhere with a complete concert of this one song over and over, which is pretty much their only claim to fame.

Actually, to be fair here, I believe this was done on an "Oprah" show a while back. (of course, many years after the song was popular) To their credit, it still sounds damn close years later.

OK, the internet bad guys took down the wack~ass video of the Starland Vocal Band, featuring the then "only plump" Oprah.
(meaning she wasn't a true fat pig yet, just a piglet)

So I'll repost here with another way too sugary version, to make you all cough up your breakfast.
